The MCW 6.8 is one of the two marksman rifles that are available in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta. For the most part, you won’t see the MCW 6.8 make an appearance in the killfeed of a match. Instead, you’ll likely see its younger brother, the MCW assault rifle, appear all over the place.
However, if you’re someone who likes to kill enemies at a distance in Modern Warfare 3, the MCW 6.8 and its best loadout might be a better option for you.
The MCW 6.8 is arguably the better of the two marksman rifles in MW3, with the MTZ Interceptor featuring slightly worse stats across the board. This includes damage range, mobility, and accuracy. As such, the MCW 6.8 is perhaps the better option to start with, as you will likely see more success right off the bat. Of course, to get the most out of the MCW 6.8 in the beta, you need to use its strongest set of attachments.
To see the best loadout for the MCW 6.8 in Modern Warfare 3, check out the guide below.
Best MCW 6.8 loadout in the Modern Warfare 3 beta
- Barrel: Orchestra-40 Short Heavy Barrel
- Optic: MK.23 Reflector
- Stock: RB Monarch Tactical Heavy Stock
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: RB Rapidstrike Grip
I have designed this loadout with primarily long-range gunfights in mind. Most of the attachments on this loadout increase your recoil control and accuracy with the MCW 6.8, which is crucial to staying on target and winning gunfights at far distances.
The MK.23 Reflector might not seem like a great optic for longer range fights, but it offers a clear sight that allows you to fully focus on an enemy. The 30 Round Mag is in place to provide peace of mind when it comes to reloading while the RB Rapidstrike Grip is the one attachment on my loadout that increases mobility. Other than that, the rest of the loadout will improve your accuracy, giving you a laser-beam for a weapon when using the MCW 6.8
