Season 6 is finally here in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone and you can explore a wealth of content that arrived with the update. From a slew of Operator skins on the Battle Pass to fresh multiplayer maps, there is a ton to see in Season 6. This includes the ISO 9mm submachine gun, which is one of three new weapons in the Season 6 Battle Pass. The ISO 9mm might look like the ISO 45 that arrived previously in MW2, but it features a much stronger loadout in my opinion.
Compared to the ISO 45, the ISO 9mm has very similar traits. The two SMGs both feature a fast fire rate and high mobility, as they are built virtually the same with a few exceptions. I will say that in early testing, the ISO 9mm seems to be a little more mobile than the 45, which is great for aggressive players. Of course, to get the absolute most out of the ISO 9mm, you want to ensure you’re using its best set of attachments.
To see the best loadout for ISO 9mm in MW2, check out the guide below.
Best ISO 9mm loadout in MW2
- Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
- Barrel: ISO 45 Factory
- Stock: Res 2
- Underbarrel: Agent Grip
- Rear Grip: EXP Shear
This loadout amplifies all of the stats you need when using the ISO 9mm. Your accuracy, mobility, and damage range all get a little boost with the attachments I have selected.
I start out with the Bruen Pendulum and the Agent Grip to boost accuracy by a large margin. You won’t notice much gun kick when firing the ISO 9mm, especially at mid-range. That’s followed up by the ISO 45 Factory, which adds extra damage range, bullet velocity, and more recoil control.

The loadout is wrapped up with the Res 2 stock and the EXP Shear rear grip, both of which increase your aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. This is a true jack-of-all-trades loadout, and the ISO 9mm benefits greatly from it in MW2.
As a final note, you can use the ISO 9mm in the new Modern Warfare 3 and use this same loadout to great effect. However, you will need to change most of the rest of the class, as the perks have been entirely changed in the new multiplayer title. You can still use the same lethal or tactical as well as a similar secondary weapon. Of course, I suggest using some of the new content first so you can experience some of the fresh items in MW3.
