The ISO 45 was a Battle Pass weapon that arrived with the Season 4 update in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It’s a fast-firing submachine gun that rivals the likes of the Fennec 45 in its class. However, compared to the other SMGs in its class, the ISO 45 has much higher damage and recoil, meaning that if you can remain accurate with it, you will be killing enemies at an extremely fast rate. Of course, the best way to keep the recoil down on the ISO 45 in MW2 is to use its best loadout.
The SMG features one of the highest fire rates in all of multiplayer. It’s described as a “room clearing” SMG that “dominates with a high fire rate and the stopping power of .45 Auto rounds.” The .45 Auto rounds really make a difference when using the ISO 45, as you will notice enemies die much faster, especially when you aim for their heads.

Best ISO 45 loadout in Modern Warfare 2
I have chosen to primarily use attachments that will boost accuracy on the ISO 45’s loadout. This ensures that you get the best of both worlds when using it, as you can be accurate and kill enemies quickly with its high fire rate and damage.
- Muzzle: Lockshot KT85
- Laser: 1mW Quick Fire Laser
- Stock: SK-3 Cheetah
- Magazine: 45 Round Drum
- Rear Grip: EXP Shear
The SK-3 Cheetah is the lone attachment that the loadout uses to increase mobility. The other attachments on the loadout, such as the Lockshot KT85 and EXP Shear, will increase the ISO 45’s recoil control. The 45 Round Drum is also essential to the loadout’s success, as the SMG has such a high fire rate that it runs out of bullets very quickly. Finally, the 1mW Quick Fire Laser helps out with your hipfire accuracy in case you need to shoot an enemy in a pinch.

As a final note, you can use the ISO 45 in the new Modern Warfare 3 and use this same loadout to great effect. However, you will need to change most of the rest of the class, as the perks have been entirely changed in the new multiplayer title. You can still use the same lethal or tactical as well as a similar secondary weapon. Of course, I suggest using some of the new content first so you can experience some of the fresh items in MW3.
