After a brief, 13-year hiatus, the Intervention is finally back in the Call of Duty series.

The Season 3 update in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 introduced two new weapons to the fray, the FJX Imperium and the Cronen Squall.  The FJX Imperium sniper rifle is the new Intervention, and the developers have already given the gun a fantastic start. One part of the Season 3 update in Warzone 2 was giving some snipers the ability to one-shot kill enemies.

The FJX Imperium is one sniper that has that ability in Warzone 2, but only if players use the right loadout for the gun.

Prior to Season 3, no sniper rifle could down a fully-armored enemy with a single headshot. They could only deal most of the opponent’s health, allowing them to get to cover and heal up. This was a disappointing change for many players when Warzone 2 was released, as it made snipers all but obsolete.

However, now they’re back, and players can use the FJX Imperium to completely eliminate full enemy teams with only a few shots. Players will need to use a specific set of attachments on the sniper to accomplish this goal, though.

Best FJX Imperium loadout in Warzone 2

  • Barrel: Fahrenheit 29″
  • Stock: FJX Lux-7
  • Bolt: FJX H-Bolt
  • Carry Handle: Keystone Handle
  • Ammunition: .408 Explosive

The .408 Explosive ammunition is the most important attachment on this loadout. This one attachment gives the FJX Imperium the ability to one-shot kill enemies in Warzone 2, as it boosts damage significantly. That’s followed up by the Fahrenheit 29″ barrel, which also increases damage range. The rest of the loadout is focused on improving flinch resistance, accuracy, and stability, which will give players a dominant weapon to use at mid-long range.
