Fans can finally explore Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s new content for Season two. The shining features, for most players, are the new weapons: the FARA 83 and LC10. These can be unlocked through the Battle Pass. Certainly, both of these weapons fill a niche in Black Ops Cold War. However, like any other weapon in the game, a proper loadout can take either weapon to a new level. In today’s article, we’ll be looking at the FARA 83 and reviewing the best loadout, as well as the ideal way to play with the AR.
The best loadout for the FARA 83
The FARA 83 is inspired by the Galil assault rifle, which first made its debut in the original Black Ops. As a fan-favorite weapon, the Galil possesses many of the same qualities as the FARA 83. This includes a high bullet velocity along with strong damage and range.
However, the FARA 83 does have one shortcoming; its accuracy. Here are some accuracy-boosting attachments to help maximize the areas in which the FARA is already strong.
- Muzzle: Muzzle Brake 5.56
- Barrel: 18.1″ Takedown
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Rear Grip: GRU Elastic Wrap
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
Initially, the Muzzle Brake and Field Agent Grip drastically improve the FARA 83’s accuracy. With these two attachments equipped, there shouldn’t be too much trouble firing accurate shots.
The rest of the FARA 83 loadout prioritizes speed and damage. The 18.1″ Takedown Barrel greatly improves damage range without much of a downside. Similarly, in regard to speed, both the GRU Elastic Wrap and KGB Skeletal Stock will allow bringing the weapon up faster. This greatly improves one’s chances in close-quarter combat.
With the FARA 83, it’s important to keep engagements at a medium range. Although the above load-out was built to keep close-quarters in mind, fast-firing SMG can still beat it. Fighting enemies from power points on the map should allow some nice scorelines in Season 2.
