The best Chimera loadout in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2

Season 1 Reloaded delivered a solid slate of content in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In multiplayer specifically, there was the new Shipment map, the Atomgrad Raid, fresh Operators, and the Chimera assault rifle. The Chimera is a carbon copy of the Honey Badger from previous Call of Duty titles. In Modern Warfare 2, the Chimera is fairly lethal when players equip it with the right loadout.

Just like in previous games, the Chimera has an integrated suppressor, meaning its shots are silent when fired by default. It also comes equipped with Subsonic ammo, which makes it so no skull appears over an enemy when you kill them. In order to unlock the Chimera, players must either purchase the Store Bundle containing the weapon or get two kills with assault rifles in 15 different matches in MW2. Once players have unlocked the Chimera, they can begin working toward unlocking its best attachments for multiplayer.

Best Chimera loadout in Modern Warfare 2

Since the Chimera is more compact, players have found it easier to use the gun as more of an SMG rather than an AR. While the Chimera will still be effective at mid-range, its close-range prowess will drastically increase using our loadout.

• Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
• Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip

With the exception of the FTAC Ripper 56, all of the primary attachments on this loadout are meant to increase mobility. Specifically, players will see a huge bump in their aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. The FTAC Ripper 56 is in place to give players extra recoil control and stability.
