The best C58 loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2

An underrated AR in Season 2

There are numerous weapons in Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone that are considered just outside of the meta. However, one of the best aspects about this season is that despite a weapon not being in the meta, it can still serve a useful purpose. Raven Software has made it so dozens of weapons are viable. This even applies to a somewhat forgotten Black Ops Cold War assault rifle, the C58. The C58 has a great loadout for Season 2 that can be used on both Rebirth Island and Caldera.

The C58 has never been the clear-cut, most popular assault rifle in Warzone, but it’s also seen its time in the limelight, mostly before the Vanguard integration. It’s now an above-average rifle that’s simply never had an overpowered loadout or stats since late 2021. While that hasn’t changed in Season 2 Reloaded, players can make use of the C58’s above-average loadout to great effect.

The full loadout for the C58 in Season 2 is viewable below.

Players who used the C58 before the Vanguard integration can continue to use the meta loadout that was associated with the gun during the Cold War days. The C58’s recommended loadout has not changed since then, as it still features the same meta attachments for any Cold War assault rifle.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Magazine: 45 Rnd Drum

This is the standard loadout for an AR from Cold War. Damage range, damage, recoil control, and magazine size are all increased with this loadout. Players in Warzone have found great success with the loadout, with WZRanked stating that players utilizing it have achieved an average 1.51 KD.

Whether players are on Caldera or Rebirth Island this season or the next, this C58 loadout is still viable in Warzone.
