Kazakh esports organization Syman Gaming has benched Maksim ā€œt0rickā€ Zaikin from its CSGO roster. The Azerbaijani professional player had joined the organization in August of 2018, after a former position on Entropy Gaming. Torick posted a social media update after being benched with ā€œstay tuned,ā€ which could mean him joining another organization.

ā€œStarting from today, Torick will no longer represent our (CSGO) squad. It was (a) good year together and we are grateful to Maxim for everything,ā€ wrote Syman Gaming in a statement on social media. ā€œYou are a great teammate and player, we wish you good luck in your future career.ā€

T0rick got his start in the competitive scene in 2015, first playing on ELTZ! and eventually for Entropy Gaming. While with Entropy Gaming, the team finished in 7th place at Season 9 of 99Liga Division 1. After joining Syman Gaming, the organization finished 4th at GG BET’s Summer CIS event, MyTime’s Pro League, and LOOT BET’s Bullet Blizzard event.

The team also placed 1st at Season 1 of the LOOT BET Hotshot Series CIS Qualifier and 2nd in Season 2. Some of the major achievements of Syman Gaming while Torick was on the team include 2nd at 2019’s Berlin CIS Minor Championship. The team also placed 7 – 8th at 2019’s Games Clash Masters. However, Torick was benched after Syman Gaming was eliminated in a match against Movistar Riders in Season 2 of the United Masters League.

The current Syman Gaming CSGO roster consists of Ramazan “Ramz1kBO$$” Bashizov, Sanzhar “neaLaN” Ishkakov, Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus, and Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy. The Kazakh organization will have to recruit a fifth player before it plays its next match against HellRaisers in Season 2 of WePlay! Forge of Masters. What team do you think he will join next?
