Mousesports are the first European team to advance to the ESL Pro League Season 9 LAN Finals after taking first place in group A of the European division.
A very exciting group A saw Mousesports win all three of their matches to top their group, while OpTic and North advanced to the second qualifier stage in second and third place respectively, leaving ex-Space Soldiers in last place and out of the running.

The all-new Mousesports line up was able to impress in all three of their matches, starting with an easy 2-0 against ex-Space Soldiers in a series where the European squad was hardly threatened. In their second series, Mousesports faced a more difficult opponent, OpTic. They were able to find another victory, however, winning a somewhat comfortable 2-1, as both of their map wins were one-sided. Mousesports’ final series was unexpectedly easy, the European team was able to take a quick 2-0 against North, dropping only nine rounds over both maps.
OpTic claimed second place in the group with two wins, a close 2-1 against North and a very easy 2-0 against ex-Space Soldiers. OpTic’s first match was the closest one of the group, with map one going into overtime before OpTic secured the 19:16 victory. Map two equalized the series as North took a fairly straightforward Train 16:9. These results meant the series could go either way. However, OpTic managed to step it up on map three and took a solid 16:11 victory on Nuke after a very impressive 8:7 T-side. Their match against ex-Space Soldiers was a quick and easy 2-0 with not much to talk about, as the Turkish team simply fell flat.
North only found a win against the very unimpressive ex-Space Soldiers. In their 2-0 victory, North were able to take the lead early in both maps, and grind out a very expected victory.
