The first match of the semifinals will be played between Fnatic and AGO. Both teams have been impressive in the playoffs so far, but Fnatic have an edge here. The Swedes have yet to lose a map in the playoffs, and they’ve defeated very strong opponents in Team Russia and OpTic already.
The Polish squad, on the other hand, have faced much weaker opposition—Team Ukraine and Valiance. They struggled against the latter, losing the opening map. It will take something very special from AGO to challenge Fnatic here.
Match two seems to be a much closer affair, with an on form Windigo taking on G2. Windigo will come into the match with high spirits, having defeated MiBR in the quarter-finals, proving they can challenge the best teams in the world.
Similarly, the G2 squad should be full of confidence, having not yet lost a map yet at WESG. This will be a whole new challenge for the French team, however, as they haven’t faced a top team, having only played against the heavy underdogs. It will be very interesting to see if G2 can keep up their winning streak, or if Windigo have what it takes to stop them.
