X7 Esports have completed their full roster for the Northern League of Legends Championship Division 1 for 2022 by signing Danish bot laner Nataniel “Nata” Fikrisellasie Asrat and Belgian Head Coach Nias “Nias” Vanwalleghem, according to sources close to Upcomer. This comes after LEC Gliscor and esportmaniacos first reported on X7’s roster.
After esportmanicos reported on X7 signing Lennart “Jaeger” Warkus, Kan “Haru” Min-Seung, Kang “Tempt” Myung-gu and Raymong “kaSing” Tsang, many were left wondering who their bot laner and head coach would be. Bot laner Nata is a newer name to the competitive scene and most recently played for eMonkeyz for the entirety of 2021 in the Spanish SuperLiga. While the overall results for eMonkeyz were not ideal, Nata had many strong individual performances.

Nias helped Riddle Esports achieve top-four in the NLC 2021 summer season, famously defeating BT Excel 2-1 in playoffs. He also helped AGO ROGUE in the European Masters 2021 summer for the duration of the tournament. Nias has had some experience coaching in Korea as well, helping Spear Gaming’s second team win the 2021 LCK Academy Series’ first Championship.
X7 Esports, founded on the Isle of Man in December of 2020, are a newer name in the European Regional Leagues. The team “stands as the first (and only) professional esports organization on the island,” as per their website. They entered the NLC’s First Division by acquiring Absolved, who qualified via the spring qualifiers by defeating Vanir 3-0.
