Austrian esports organization Wave Esports is set to sign a complete VALORANT roster, multiple sources told Upcomer on Tuesday.
Wave have fixed their roster around Yiğithan “deepsman” Kesici, a 16-year-old Turkish Jett player, sources said.
I'm going to turn 16 on September 9th, so I'm looking for a team. During this time, I tried to show myself in ranked as much as possible.

Wave have settled on in-game leader Povilas “roxie” Krivelis in addition to Sentinel player Okko “Feeqn” Pajari, both of whom played on the German team IVY in mid- to-late-2021. Vladislav “Bgg” Boev and Murat “murii” Korkmaz will complete the roster, sources said; murii is the only player who will remain from Wave’s former roster.
Wave announced on their social networks the entry of their new roster with a tweet talking about “A new beginning.”

According to sources close to the organization, the team started rebuilding last September. The organization’s main goal was to find a hard-fragging Duelist and a dedicated in-game leader.
A few months ago, Wave said goodbye to three of their players. Robertas “Carcass” Mikuckis joined G2 Gozen as a coach, while Sigurd “Zik” Jensen and Mathias “SEIDER” Seider joined Alliance.
Today we are officially parting ways with,

🇱🇹 @CarcassGGThank you so much for the hard work and the great time together! Good luck in the future! 💙#wavecheck 🌊 pic.twitter.com/T3HF0q3QRb

The technical staff of Wave’s VALORANT team will consist of Dimitar “Itopata” Staev as head coach, while Sam Forrest remains as the team’s analyst, sources said.
The team will try to get one of the four remaining spots for the VALORANT Champions Tour in the Europe, Middle East and Asia region for the upcoming 2022 season. If they do not qualify for the premier league, Wave will pivot to competing in one of the new EMEA regional circuits in VALORANT, the German VALORANT Regional League. The rules of this league would oblige the teams to have two players with German residency, so they would have to announce a German stand-in to compete.
If each player joins Wave and they’re able to make it to VCT, the organization will field the following VALORANT roster:
- Deepsman
- Roxie
- Feeqn
- Bgg
- murii
