Top laner Enzo “SLT” Gonzalez will be bought out by Ibai Llanos and Gerard Piqué’s team, who have yet to find a name, as they reached an agreement with Team Vitality sources told Upcomer Thursday.
SLT had an eventful year, in the spring he played with Berlin International Gaming in the League of Legends Prime League, where he won the spring playoffs. After this success he went to the League of Legends European Championship to play for Vitality, but he played half of the summer split before Mathias “Szygenda” Jensen took his spot in July. He then played for Vitality.Bee in the Ligue Française de League of Legends. He placed third in the LFL summer playoffs and 2021 Finals. He also made an appearance at both European Masters events, one with BIG in the spring and one with Vitality.Bee in the summer. With BIG, SLT made the knockout stage, with the Vitality academy team he only made it as far as the play-in stage.
With the main Vitality team, SLT played nine games and won four of them. Arguably his best performance was on Gwen against SK Gaming. After Vitality moved him to their academy team, they finished sixth in the LEC regular season. They made the LEC summer playoffs with the result and were seeded directly into the lower bracket. They lost in the first round to Fnatic, 2-3.
The top laner is still under contract with Vitality but his contract will be bought out by Ibai’s Team in the LVP SuperLiga.
SLT is the last missing piece completing the roster of jungler Luis “Koldo” Pérez, mid laner Jørgen “Hatrixx” ElgÃ¥en, bot laner Rafa “Rafitta” Ayllón Zapata and support Daniel “seaz” Binderhofer.
