Top laner Venour, mid laner Dirk “ZaZee” Mallner and support Ricardo “Quicktimer” Schipper are going to complete Berlin International Gaming’s roster, according to Upcomer’s sources on Saturday. The trio is going to compete in the Prime League Pro Division as part of BIG’s roster in 2022.
Venour will be a rookie in the German European Regional League, as he’s never played professionally before. He did reach Challenger on the ranked ladder both this year and in 2020.
Meanwhile, in the mid lane, a much more well-known name will be a part of the roster. ZaZee was already a part of the organization in 2019 when they lifted the European Masters trophy in summer. He then joined the League of Legends European Championship in summer 2020 where he played with SK Gaming. With the LEC team, he placed fifth in the regular season and sixth in the playoffs. More recently, he has been playing in the Prime League.
Quicktimer is another former SK Gaming player joining the roster, as he played for SK Gaming Prime last split.
In the 2021 season, BIG placed second and third in the spring and summer splits respectively and made the playoff finals in both. They won the playoff bracket in spring and lost in the summer. They qualified for EU Masters in both spring and summer.
Berlin International Gaming’s jungler will be Jackson “Pabu” Pavone, as reported by Upcomer. Tim “Keduii” Willers will also remain with the team as reported by Jaxon.
