Sources: Labrov extends his contract with Team Vitality to 2024

The Greek player's extension with Vitality matches that of his new teammate, Carzzy

Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis has extended his contract with Team Vitality’s League of Legends team until 2024, according to sources close to Upcomer. This extension is similar in duration to the team’s arrangement with his partner in the botlane Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság, as sources had confirmed to Upcomer.

Labrov will become part of a new look for Vitality, as a report from Esportmaniacos claims that mid laner Luka “Perkz” Perković and top laner Barney “Alphari” Morris are set to join them in the League of Legends European Championship. They would replace Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov and Mathias “Szygenda” Jensen in the starting roles, respectively.

With a separate report confirming that Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek will stay with the team for another year, these roster moves would fill every position on Vitality.

Labrov first joined Vitality as a rookie in 2020 and eventually established himself as one of the best supports in the LEC. Vitality finished the LEC 2021 summer split in sixth place. This was enough to qualify for the playoffs, where they fell in the first round of the losers bracket, 2-3 to Fnatic. This improved on a 10th place finish during the spring split, which saw them miss the playoffs entirely.

Free agency for League of Legends officially opens at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 15.
