Gaëthan previously played top lane for Tony Parker Adéquat Academy, where he and the team came in third place for both the LFL Division 2 Summer and Playoff tournaments. Karakal Jr has been the head coach for British team Resolve since May. Prior to that, he was with Team Queso.

MAD Lions Madrid, previously known as MAD Lions E.C., most recently took second place at this year’s Iberian Cup. The team also came in fifth and sixth place for the LVP SL 2021 Summer Playoffs and third at LVP SL 2021 Summer.

The MAD Lions Madrid 2022 roster continues to grow, with Gaëthan the most recent addition. Upcomer previously reported that former Tricked Esports bot laner Nikolaj “DenVoksne” Meilby has also come to a verbal agreement to join the squad next year. Former UCAM Esports Club jungler Maik “Hades” Jonker will also be joining MAD Lions Madrid for the 2022 season, according to that report.
