This decision follows a very rough split for the French organization; they currently hold a record of 2-14 with only one week of competition left. Because of that, Mirage Elyandra are already locked to play in the upcoming LFL promotion tournament.

The team is willing to make changes to avoid losing their spot in the LFL; this is the second signing with this goal in mind —the organization also recently signed Paul “sOAZ” Boyer as a positional coach. Funnily enough, both of them are popular names that have played for Fnatic during their career. They also played together for Misfits Gaming through their struggles in 2019.

Febiven started his career at the top European competition following a promotion to the European League Of Legends Championship Series with H2k-Gaming in 2015. However the mid laner joined Fnatic in season 6 for his debut there. With Fnatic, Febiven holds historical achievements as the team went undefeated in the summer split of that same year.

After few years of competition between Europe and North America, went back to Fnatic in 2021 to play for their academy team. However, the Dutch mid laner ended up retiring before the end of the competitive split.

While it’s unlikely for Febiven to play the last week of LFL already, he is going to replace mid laner Kim “RangJun” Sang-jun in the promotion tournament.
