Entropiq will join the League Of Legends scene and field a roster made up of top laner Ondřej “Robocop” Sklenička, jungler Mustafa “Rames” Korkmaz, mid laner Nguyễn “Eren” Đức Anh, bot laner Cosmin “Khantos” Florin Leontin Dănilă and support Petr “denyk” Haramach in 2022, sources told Upcomer on Wednesday. Žiga “Apples” Jereb will coach the team.
Entropiq are a leading Czech organization in esports, and their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team attended the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. They managed to finish ninth place in the New Legends Stage, though an eighth place finish would have qualified them for the New Champions Stage. The organization has partners including as McDonald’s and Puma, and their brand founder, Martin Kabrhel, is two times world champion in Poker.
They are now entering League Of Legends after earning a spot in Hitpoint Masters through an application process. Hitpoint Masters is one of the six Non-Accredited European Regional League as announced by Riot for 2022. The league represents the countries of Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Robocop and Denyk both come from the Czech Republic. While Robocop played for S2V Esports in the LVP SuperLiga 2021 Summer, Denyk is a more familiar name as the support played for both Misfits Gaming and Excel in the League of Legends European Championship. Rames, Khantos and coach Apples come from the same team, Absolved, which managed to win the NLC 2022 Spring Qualifier before being acquired by X7 Esports. Finally, Eren, played for Mad Lions Madrid in the recent Iberian Cup 2021, where his team finished second place.
It is uncommon to see players from accredited ERLs joining a team together in a smaller league, but that makes Entropiq’s entrance into League Of Legends an even bigger splash as they work toward EU Masters in 2022.
