The agreement involves a full collaboration between both parties which would combine eMonkeyz’ League of Legends and Rainbow Six teams with SD Huesca’s FIFA project. The agreement also includes a merger of both logos — though both entities would still work from offices remotely on a temporary basis.

As a result of this merger, eMonkeyz and SD Huesca would compete together in the recently created LVP SuperLiga 2nd Division against organizations including Case Esports, Rebels Gaming and Team Heretics.

Sources also said that both teams believe the deal could be the beginning of a great relationship for both organizations, as both teams hope to maintain eMonkeyz’ original philosophy to combine rookies with experienced players (though they have yet to actually sign any players). This agreement comes after SD Huesca conducted their latest FIFA signings through eMonkeyz.

eMonkeyz were founded in 2015 after re-branding from Celerius e-Sports. Meanwhile, SD Huesca were founded in 1960 and currently compete in the second professional association football division of the Spanish football league system.
