The 21 year-old player will re-sign with the organization after originally joining in December of 2019. LEC Wooloo first broke the news after Excel tweeted a not-so cryptic photo implying Patrik would return. The Czech player was previously linked with Rogue Esports and Team BDS this offseason but chose to remain with Excel, according to sources close to Upcomer

Patrik first broke into the major European league back in 2017 when it was still the European League of Legends Championship Series. He first played with H2k-Gaming and then went to Origen as the league rebranded to the League of Legends European Championship. He stuck with Origen during the 2019 season until he signed with Excel, where he has been ever since.

Patrik has never been on a team that has qualified for a high-profile international event, and his highest placement during the regular season was a second place finish with Origen. They made it all the way to the 2019 spring playoff final before losing 0-3 to G2, missing out on the Mid-Season Invitational. His only taste of international competition came in the form of Rift Rivals, in 2019, as the LEC faced off against the League Championship Series. At the event, Patrik and his Origen teammates defeated Cloud9 and TSM but fell to Team Liquid.

With Excel, Patrik has consistently placed seventh in the LEC and has not seen the post-season with the squad. His re-signing is only a verbal agreement at this point, as the offseason does not begin until Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. ET.
