North American organization TSM is set to sign Chet Singh to replace Taylor “Tailored” Broomall as head coach of the VALORANT roster, according to sources close to Upcomer.
Tailored was released by the organization earlier today, but his departure was known internally for some time following the early exit in the VCT North America Stage 2: Challengers 2 last month, Upcomer understands. Chet has signed with the organization and will likely be announced as the new coach in the coming days.
Today we're parting ways with our Valorant head coach @boxrTailored.
Taylor helped take TSM to the top early on, winning two Ignition Series and a 2nd at First Strike. We'll forever be grateful for what he achieved. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors. pic.twitter.com/r7YaTpdQjJ

Chet has been without an organization since he parted with NRG Esports following the conclusion of the VCT North America Stage 2 Challengers 1 Open Qualifier in April. Chet left the organization on April 6.
TSM did not secure qualification to the Challengers Finals earlier this month following a top six finish at Challengers 2. NRG Esports, Andbox, Cloud9 Blue and Sentinels managed to secure a place at the major regional event.
Sentinels and V1 are set to represent North America at the VALORANT Masters event later this month.
Chet is a highly accredited coach in VALORANT, his accolades stemming from his tenure in CS:GO. During his coaching career he was considered one of the best coaches in North America, earning himself a spot on teams such as Evil Geniuses and NRG.
He won several events with NRG during his impressive tenure in CS:GO, including cs_summit 3 in 2018. He would later win ESL One: New York in 2019—one of the larger events in the CS:GO calendar—with Evil Geniuses.
Chet re-joined NRG Esports in October 2020 to kickstart the VALORANT roster. But with this new acquisition Chet is set to lead TSM alongside Braxton “Brax” Pierce, James “hazed” Cobb, Taylor “Drone” Johnson, Matthew “WARDELL” Yu and Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik.
