Jungler Jackson “Pabu” Pavone has signed with Berlin International Gaming, a team competing in Prime League, the German European Regional League, sources told Upcomer on Wednesday.
Pabu is a well known League Of Legends player from the Oceanic region, he won the LCO 2021 Split 1 with his team Pentanet.GG, qualifying them for the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational. Pabu and his team played there against the other best League of Legends teams in the world at the time and managed to qualify for the rumble stage after finishing second in their group over Unicorns Of Love. Pabu has also participated in two All-Star tournaments through Riot.
His new team, BIG, previously won the European Masters Main Event in the summer of 2019. More recently they finished first in playoffs of the Prime League Pro Division Playoffs during both the spring and the summer after finishing the regular season second and third, respectively. BIG are also sending mid laner Steven “RKR” Chen to MAD Lions in the League of Legends European Championship, according to a previous report.
Pabu will replace Philippe “Akabane” Le in the jungle, who is headed to compete in the Ligue Française de League of Legends for GameWard alongside top laner Dawid “Melonik” ÅšlÄ™czka.
