Smooya looking for new opportunities in 2020

The young AWP-er revealed in a Twitlonger post that his contract has been terminated by his former organization, BIG Clan. Nevertheless, the Brit was very thankful for BIG giving him another opportunity back in August of 2019. Known for his light-hearted humor and indomitable spirit, his post included some funny comments to the public.

“Lastly to all the fans who wanted nothing but the best for us, again thank you it really means alot to recieve positive comments even after constant losses as a team haha.
And to the trolls, love you too! You keep the money coming in by just watching<3″

When it comes to the young player’s availability, he has highlighted that he is now a “free agent” and that his main goal is to play in NA (North America). Smooya’s reason for choosing that region after playing for a European team was not disclosed. Surely, the AWP-er will be picked up by some American formation in a matter of weeks given his flair and potential.

k1to and syrsoN make up a new BIG Clan

2020 is becoming more and more interesting as a renewed BIG is coming on stage. Apart from Ismailcan “XANTARES” DörtkardeÅŸ, who is of Turkish origins, the team now consists of fully German players and management staff.

SyrsoN and, more recently, k1to have left their former team Sprout, and were rumored to be joining BIG. The rumors have become reality as the team is now ready to be a force to be reckoned with in the 2020 CSGO season. The two players replace smooya as well as nex, who have been removed from the lineup.

Moreover, in the official statement by the organization, Fatih “gob b” Dayik, who retired from professional CSGO back in August when smooya came back on board, has now been given the position of “Head of CS:GO”. Therefore, gob b has replaced Nikola “LEGIJA” Ninić, who has departed from the organization.

Overall, BIG’s team looks as follows after the restructure:

  • Nils “k1to” Gruhne
  • Florian “syrsoN” Rische
  • Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz
  • Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch
  • Ismailcan “XANTARES” DörtkardeÅŸ
  • Tobias “tow b” Herberhold (coach)
  • Fatih “gob b” Dayik (Head of CS:GO)
