After the v10.20 update went live, Fortnite leakers had a field day and found all sorts of things in the game’s files. One of the nuggets they discovered is the upcoming weekly challenges for Week 5 and 6. We covered the Week 5 challenges in-depth earlier today, so make sure to check that out. In the Week 5 challenges, there are also two famous “Search between” challenges in the Free and Battle Pass section. Today, we’ll be showing you how to complete the Free challenge “Search between a basement film camera, a snowy stone head and a flashy gold big rig.”

Where to search for this Fortnite Week 5 challenge

There are no pre-requisites or requirements to complete this challenge. Every player has access to free challenges and can therefore complete them for the duration of Season X.

The challenge we’ll be covering today involves searching a certain spot on the Fortnite map. This location can be found between three landmarks. Once you locate it, a Battle Star will pop up, signifying the completion of the challenge.

For this free challenge, we’re looking for a film camera, a snowy stone head, and a gold big rig. Of course, you can go looking for these items yourself. Or, you can follow this guide and grab that Battle Star as quickly as possible!

To start, just hop into any Fortnite playlist like normal. The Battle Bus direction doesn’t matter too much, as the location we’re looking for lies near the center of the map. We’re aiming to head southwest of Tilted Town.

In order to complete this challenge, we must visit one of the snowy hills to Tilted Town’s southwest. Look below for the exact locations on the Fortnite map.

Simply land or navigate your way to the marked hill above, and then you will find the Battle Star. Once you interact with it, this Free challenge is complete! However, these challenges don’t go live until Thursday, Aug 29 at 11:00 a.m. ET. As such, you’ll have to wait until then to go hunting.
