Rocket League fans to finally get long-awaited Esports Antennas with Esports Shop /s

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

With the Rocket League Esports Shop just a little over a week away, Psyonix is eager to unveil their new antennas. “The fans have asked for this for years,” the Rocket League developer said. “We can’t wait to show our new organization flags. We think this will revitalize the way people treat antennas.”

The Esports Shop will launch on the 16th of this month. Fans have screamed for organization antennas since the start of Rocket League esports. Psyonix finally obliged with an announcement. While we haven’t yet seen what exactly they’ve got in store for us, we can’t wait to spend some well-earned money on antennas and other popular items.

“Anyone wanting to prove they’re among the top players sports an antenna,” Rocket League caster and analyst John “Johnnyboi_i” MacDonald added. “You see it all over RLCS. With these flags, Psyonix shows they’re aware of what the scene needs. You can see it in players such as Fairy Peak and Kuxir. They’ve switched to the Dominus purely to be able to equip these flags alone.”

Mike “Gregan” Ellis, player-manager for Renault Vitality, agrees. “I’m looking forward to the moment Psyonix reveals the RV flags and can’t wait to see the reactions. I think players will love the special ‘Triple Commit’ edition we’ve provided to Psyonix. It’ll bring the fans closer to Scrub’s, Fairy’s, and Kaydop’s mindsets.”

We haven’t yet heard the price point of these coveted items, but we think it’s safe to assume that the popularity of antennas alone will give the esport’s funding a big boost. Player salaries, as well as prize pools, are rising by the year, and with this new Esports Antenna Shop, we’ll surely see a large increase in prize money the coming seasons of the RLCS and at third-party events. The future of Rocket League esports is looking brighter by the day.
