It’s the off-season in Rocket League land and we know what that means: roster shuffles across the board. If last season was any indication, we’ll have plenty of RLCS transfer news in the coming weeks. In fact, we’ve had a couple of very interesting changes already with Reed “Chicago” Wilen replacing Cameron “Kronovi” Bills on G2. Kronovi, in turn, went on to join Rogue’s new roster. But even more transfers happened in the last few days, and we’re here to recap it all for you.
Sizz stays on Rogue
After relegating with Rogue last season, Emiliano “Sizz” Benny announced he is remaining with the organization as a streamer and substitute player on the newly acquired team. Rogue decided to drop the relegated roster in favor of Kronovi’s new team, who plays in the RLCS. This leaves Sizz’s former team a man down in the RLRS, who will most likely be looking for a new third.
Al0t remains in the RLCS by joining mousesports
Another relegated player who rejoins the RLCS straight away is Linus “Al0t” Möllergren. The Swedish player transfers from CompLexity after a devastating season. Where he was a Grand Finalist in season four, he relegated two seasons later after his team replaced Otto “Metsanauris” Kaipiainen, a move that ended up backfiring horribly. Al0t replaces Kevin “Skyline” Carvalho on Mouz.
Welcome @al0t97 to our #RocketLeague team! Together with @xAlex161 & @TigreeeRL, we will try to qualify for WSOE Las Vegas on Sunday and compete in the upcoming #RLCS

Paschy90 retires
After having been removed from Renault Vitality, Philip “Paschy90” Paschmeier announced he is retiring from Rocket League. While he asked to do a tryout for mousesports, they had already chosen Al0t as their new third and declined his request. It’s a sad announcement indeed, as Paschy is one of the longest standing professional players in the scene, having been present in the RLCS since season one. It’s not yet known who replaces him on RV, but with his departure from the team, we, unfortunately, have to say goodbye to a veteran of Rocket League.
I have some private plans I wanna try to accomplish, so it seems like I am going to quit rocket league 🙂 it was a fun ride, and I hope @RocketLeague will be there for a long time. 🤠

Ghost leaves Rocket League, and Zanejackey leaves the team?
Treyven “Lethamyr” Robitaille announced that his team is under restricted free agency, meaning they will be playing under the Ghost banner until they are found a new home. Additionally, the team signed up for the upcoming WSOE 4 event with Arsenal in place of Chris “Zanejackey” Jacobs. Zanejackey is one of the most criticized players in the RLCS and believed by many not to be up to the standard anymore. Arsenal, on the other hand, proved very talented in the RLRS and is rewarded with what looks to be a tryout for an RLCS team at a major LAN.
Other transfer rumors
Kaydop to Renault Vitality?
Many other rumors are floating about, with some having more ground to stand on than others. Firstly, there is Alex “Kaydop” Courant, thought to be on the cusp of leaving the most successful team in Rocket League history, Dignitas. This comes from Kyle “Scrub Killa” Robertson’s Twitch stream, where he accidentally showed a private chat with a fellow professional player discussing Kaydop and Victor “Fairy Peak” Locquet joining up on the same team. With Paschy’s exit, this would leave the way open for Kaydop to join Scrub and Fairy on RV.
Cross-region moves?
There are whispers of the first-ever cross-region transfer in Rocket League. According to Liquipedia, who claims to have an inside source, Matthew “Drippay” Den-Kaat is about to leave the Oceania region to join NA’s Evil Geniuses. EG recently lost Chicago to G2 and therefore have an open spot. His teammate Daniel “Torsos” Parsons also hinted that a big roster move is coming.
But that’s not all. Cameron “CJCJ” Johns, crowd favorite and player for OCE’s Tainted Minds, tweeted the words, “Give them back,” hinting that there is more than one player about to leave the region. If this turns out to be true, the OCE region would be significantly weakened regardless of who the second player is. OCE has a small pool of top-tier players to begin with, and while the region was finally proving to keep up with NA and EU, losing two top players would be a heavy blow.
Fnatic to drop their relegated roster for Savage?
After several underwhelming seasons, Fnatic’s roster was finally relegated from the RLCS. They managed to stay alive in the promotion/relegation tournament in previous seasons, but this season they couldn’t keep up. As a result, the team is now signed up for the WSOE 4 as “Vikings” rather than Fnatic. Meanwhile, the currently unsigned and recently promoted team “Savage!” is still unsigned. Savage’s coach and manager Roken stated that they were close to signing, but they just needed a little bit of time before they could announce anything. Could a roster swap in the same fashion as Rogue be inbound?
This looks to be just the beginning of many more roster changes to come. Be sure to keep up with the next transfer round-up here on Daily Esports and share your thoughts in the comments below!
