Riot Games announced Thursday that the League of Legends European Championship will allow fans back into the Berlin studio for the summer split. This means that fans can now watch all summer split games live in the studio without limitations after coronavirus protocols hampered fan attendance in previous splits and at some international events.

The LEC 2022 spring final welcomed back fans, but attendance was restricted to a limited number. For the summer split, fans can plan to watch all five games played onstage throughout the LEC 2022 summer split.

How to purchase tickets for LEC summer split in-person attendance

Anyone looking forward to watching the games live in the LEC studio must purchase tickets. The tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Friday on the Eventbrite site. Also, you must be alert to the timing of ticket sales for games.

Each ticket will cost €12, or about $13 U.S., and fans can purchase no more than four tickets at a time for friends and family. Moreover, Riot will not sell weekend tickets, so fans must purchase tickets on each game day. This method ensures fans can only buy tickets for the game days they are already confirmed to attend in-person.

Furthermore, fans will be allowed to congregate and buy beverages and food items around the LEC studio.  All persons going to the studio will need to wear a mask, according to the LEC. Wearing a mask around and in the LEC studio will be compulsory, and masks will only be allowed to be removed when eating or drinking, the league said.

The LEC summer split 2022 begins on June 17 with Vitality vs. MAD Lions as the opener. All 10 teams will play three single-game series in the super week and begin the journey for a League of Legends World Championship spot. With the top three teams from the spring playoffs making no roster changes, we can expect a battle for the top spot between them. However, other teams like Vitality, Misfits, MAD Lions and Excel will be eager to have a much better split.
