After having the most successful month in the history of the company, Riot Games is looking to capitalize on its success with the brand new animated series “Arcane.” Throughout the month of Nov., Riot is hosting events that will tie in with the highly anticipated Netflix show. There will be in-game events across all Riot titles, a special world premiere on Twitch, and much more for the players and fans across the world. Here are all the details needed to know for the kickoff of the RiotX Arcane event.
RiotX Arcane world premiere
The RiotX Arcane event will take place throughout the month of Nov. but the official kickoff day is set for Nov. 6. That’s the day of the League of Legends World Championship finals, which will have guest musical appearances by Imagine Dragons, PVRIS, Denzel Curry and more. They will most likely be performing songs from the official “Arcane” soundtrack. Later that day will be the world premiere of “Arcane.”
The Worlds 2021 finals will start at 8 a.m. ET, with the “Arcane” premiere happening at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Twitch x RiotX Arcane
The world premiere of “Arcane” will be broadcast live on Twitch. Leading up to the premier, there will be a red carpet event featuring the media as well as streamers from over 30 countries. This will take place at the Riot Games headquarters in Los Angeles. “Arcane” is also the first Netflix series to debut with co-streaming exclusively on Twitch. Content creators from around the world will be able to stream themselves watching and reacting to Episode 1 of the series; a truly historic event for all involved.
But, fans and players can get in on some cool things too. By watching the RiotX Arcane global premiere, players that have their Riot accounts linked on Twitch will be able to earn exclusive Twitch Drops. These will give fans in-game rewards while watching the event. There are drops for every single Riot Games title that can be earned from the premiere.
League of Legends: Wild Rift players can earn “A Single Tear” Emote. For League of Legends, players can receive an Arcane Capsule. VALORANT players can receive a Fishbones Gun Buddy. In Teamfight Tactics, players can get a Gizmos & Gadgets Little Legends Egg. And, finally, there is Legends of Runeterra, where players can get a Jayce emote.
In-game celebrations for everyone
The fun doesn’t stop after the “Arcane” premiere. To celebrate, Riot has many things planned in-game for each of their titles.
League of Legends will be coming out with free Arcane-inspired skins for Jayce, Vi, Caitlyn and Jinx — who will be prominent in the “Arcane” animated series. On top of that, Caitlyn will be receiving an Art and Sustainability Update, while Summoner’s Rift will be getting a few map accents related to “Arcane.”
Wild Rift will have an in-game “Arcane” event. On top of that, there will be “Arcane” Jinx and Vi skins available as log-in rewards for free. Jayce and Caitlyn will finally be released as well.
TFT gets on the action with the release of TFT Set 6, Gizmos & Gadgets. The new set is Piltover and Zuan inspired — the region in which “Arcane” is set. On top of that, new Chibi Champions — featuring Vi, Jinx and Ekko — will be released as well.
Legends of Runeterra will be releasing a new PvE mode called The Path of Champions. Jayce will also be releasing, as well as support cards for the Piltover and Zaun region. Secondly, there will be a Mega Event Pass.
Finally, VALORANT will be coming out with their new update, Episode 3 Act 3. In this update, there will be a new agent called Chamber. To celebrate “Arcane,” VALORANT will also be giving players a Free RiotX Arcane Pass along with free in-game collectible items. Also, there will be an Arcane Collectors set.
