After days of suspicion and teasers, Revenant has finally made his presence known in Apex Legends. Although, this appearance isn’t in-game, at least not yet. For the past few days, the Apex Legends Twitter account has turned into the Outlands Television account.
Backed by Hammond Robotics, a company well-known in the Titanfall universe, Outlands Television has been doing some specials with a few of the legends. Today, they shot one with Forge, the newest legend coming to Apex Legends. However, Revenant didn’t seem too keen on letting Forge steal the spotlight.
Revenant heats up Apex Legends Season 4
During this Outlands T.V. special, fictional host Lisa Stone sat down with Forge to discuss his arrival in Apex Legends. If you’re unaware, Respawn has set the backstory of the game to be a competition known as the Apex Games. The legends currently in the games are the contestants, and Forge was next in line to compete.
However, near the end of the special, the power starts to flicker and after, we get our first glimpse of Revenant. Here’s the full Twitter video so you can watch what happens:
While some think he’s not ready for the Games, James "The Forge" McCormick is confident his Shatter Gauntlets and full backing from Hammond Robotics will help him make his mark in the Arena. Don't miss this special episode of "Up Close and Personal with Lisa Stone". pic.twitter.com/pYQiSJqZ5K

Obviously, Revenant is alive and well, contrary to what some were saying after the Season 4 reveal. However, what isn’t obvious is what exactly happened to Forge. Clearly, Revenant murdered Forge and then apparently left the scene of the attack. Outlands Television had this to say after the event:

What this means for Season 4 is unclear. We have multiple promotion shots and tons of background information on Forge. It seems unlikely Respawn would go through all that trouble to then kill him off before the season begins, though it does appear he’s dead.
As for Revenant, it seems pretty clear now that he’ll be apart of the Season 4 content. With Forge out of the picture, supposedly, this could mean that Revenant is the only legend arriving on February 4.
