League of Legends Championship Series team Cloud9 are signing Kim “Winsome” Dong-keon from the South Korean amateur team Shadow Battlica and T1 Challengers bot laner Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol, according to multiple reports by Dot Esports.

According to the Dot Esports report, Nick “LS” De Cesare — the former Gravity, SUPA HOT CREW and bbq Olivers head coach and current T1 streamer — has been courted to coach the LCS team.

Cloud9 are rebuilding after an exciting 2021 season in the LCS and internationally. They competed at both the Mid-Season Invitational and the 2021 League of Legends World Championship. Winsome will join a Cloud9 side that claimed first in the LCS spring split and the LCS Mid-Season Showdown. The squad slowed down in the summer, however, placing fourth in the regular season and third in the LCS 2021 Championship.

Internationally, Cloud9 missed the knockout stage at MSI, but they made it to the bracket at Worlds 2021. The team’s most recent series saw them lose to Gen.G Esports 0-3 to finish fifth-eighth at Worlds 2021.
