According to a report from Dot Esports, confirmed by sources to Upcomer, Case Esports, the esports organization owned by famous Brazilian soccer player Carlos “Casemiro” Henrique Casimiro, has signed a roster to compete in the 2022 League of Legends Superliga Second Division with Álvaro “Xaio” Hernández Carretero serving as coach.

There had been news that former Vodafone Giants midlaner Ismael “Miniduke” Martínez Cortés had already reached an agreement with the organization, according to Dot, and now the other four members have been revealed. The remaining roster for Case Esports’ foray into the Superliga Second Division will consist of former Team Vitality positional coach Miłosz “R4VEN” Domagalski, , former Unicorns of Love jungler Kirill “AHaHaCiK” Skvortsov, former Unicorns of Love support Aleksandr “SaNTaS” Lifashin and former Team Queso bot laner Francisco “JaVaaa” Javier Martínez Luque. Taking the coaching reigns will be former BCN Squad head coach Álvaro “Xaio” Hernández Carretero.

This new squad will be Case Esports’ first step into the League of Legends ecosystem. Currently, Casemiro’s organization hosts a FIFA and VALORANT team. The roster headed up by Xaio will be a clean slate for the Spanish organization’s maiden voyage into League.

Case Esports was founded in Sept. 2020 with the goal to “create a standard that renews the image of conventional esports teams and extols sports discipline as the basis for achieving excellence in all tournaments.”

Casemiro knows a thing or two about winning, as he has won 14 major trophies while playing for Real Madrid, including four UEFA Champions League, two La Liga, one Copa del Rey and three FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
