12 hours after FaZe Clan PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds competitor Ludvik “Aitzy” Jahnsen was banned from PUBG for cheating, his suspension has been lifted, according to a Twitlonger posted by the player today. The Twitlonger followed up a statement from Aitzy clearing his name early this morning.
“I’ve immediately communicated with PUBG after the ban and fully cooperated with them,” wrote Aitzy. “My ban was lifted following that investigation by their internal anti-cheat team.” However, Aitzy refrained from providing further details about the circumstances of his ban, “due to the sensitivity of the anti-cheat topic.”
Reports of Aitzy’s ban initially surfaced last night, with journalist Rod “Slasher” Breslau reporting that it was “legitimate” according to a source familiar with the PUBG Europe League.

However, a look at Aitzy’s Steam profile confirms that his ban has indeed been lifted. The Norwegian’s comment section, once flooded with taunts, is now filled with good-luck messages and reassurances of fans’ loyalty.
In his Twitlonger, Aitzy confirmed that he will be competing in the PEL later today. “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my teammates, Fuzzface, ubah & mxey for not having one moment of doubt during this process,” wrote Aitzy, “as well as my manager, iuKeEe for pushing this along.”
