The Vancouver Titans have announced the signing of Jang-hyeon "TiZi" Hwang. TiZi’s visa is currently pending and it is unclear when or if he will be able to play in the remaining matches of the second season of the Overwatch League.

TiZi had started his career with Rhinos Gaming Wings in 2016. In August of the following year, he joined up with Korean organization RunAway and finished second in APEX Season 4. TiZi was picked up after the season by London Spitfire where he couldn’t get past Jae-hee "Gesture" Hong for a starting spot and was eventually set to inactive in the mid-season. Grinding his way through several Contenders regions and teams, TiZi will finally reunite with his former RunAway teammates in Vancouver.

The Vancouver Titans have had an incredible season, only losing two matches in the regular season and winning the stage 1 playoffs. They’ve already clinched season playoffs and will enter the bracket as the first seat. After the introduction of the 2-2-2 role lock, the Titans looked initially shaky especially in the now crystalizing meta of Reaper/Mei compositions. TiZi could bridge theoretical gaps in the hero pool of current starting main tank, Sang-beom "Bumper" Park. It is thus far not known when or if TiZi will be eligible to play this season due to a pending visa process.
