Several images of an alleged Winston “Flying Aces” skin for the Overwatch League Season 1 champion London Spitfire has leaked. The Winston skin incorporates the team logo, Spitfire’s hashtag as well as a jetpack reminiscent of the World War 2 fighter plane Spitfire.

Blizzard had worked on a Zenyatta skin called “Zen-Nakji” with Season 1 MVP Sung-hyeon "JJoNak" Bang, released to the game in June. Thematically, it was based on Jjonak’s nickname as well as the player’s wishes.

Seunghwan "Robin" Lee, General Manager of the London Spitfire, had complained about the lack of recognition of his team’s achievement on Twitter.

However, it is unlikely that the comment caused Blizzard to create Flying Aces. In fact, the skin had been rumored prior to Robin’s twitter comments in early June.

It is so far unclear if Flying Aces will remain the only championship skin that the Spitfire will receive and if Joon-yeong "Profit" Park, last year's grand finals MVP, will also receive recognition in form of a skin. Furthermore, it so far isn't known why specifically a skin for Winston, the main-stay hero of Spitfire main tank Jae-hee "Gesture" Hong, was chosen.
