Overwatch has seen its fair share of toys and action figures made out of its many heroes, and it looks like the esports side of the game might be getting its own immortalization soon.
In a press release yesterday, Activision-Blizzard revealed plans to grow out its licensed programs, with toy company Funko returning as a collaborator. Buried near the end of the release was news that Funko will be launching "an Overwatch League-themed Pop! Vinyl SKU" near the end of this year.
OWL fans should get excited, because this could be the beginning of some very cool OWL team-branded items. Imagine a Funko Pop! Shelf full of heroes in their OWL skins, especially featuring your favorite team.
Elsewhere in the world of Overwatch toys, a new D.Va Nendoroid figure based on her new Academy skin will be launching in the first quarter of next year, but it can be pre-ordered now on the Blizzard Gear store. She will become the 13th different figure in Nendoroid's Overwatch series.
The anime-style figures stand about four inches tall and come with multiple heads and arms to help customize them. The figures are meant for display, so they also come with stands and plastic arms to help pose them in fun ways.
