Na’Vi denied the purchase of FL1T from forZe

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) is on the search for a replacement to Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács. The team ponders replacing the AWPer with a rifler to complete the roster. One of the players that Na’Vi had their eyes on was the forZe rifler, Evgeny “FL1T” Lebedev. Rumors positive and negative started to arise out of this, so ForZe have cleared things up on Twitter.

ForZe denies FL1T’s departure

A TwitLonger post clarified that the team had talked with Na’Vi’s management team about the transfer of the player, but without much success for Na’Vi. ForZe is “not interested in selling the player,” therefore leaving the buyout option as the only way for Na’Vi to acquire the player.

On top of that, allegedly, forZe spoke to FL1T personally following the aforementioned happening. FL1T has decided to stay put in his current team and has no intention of moving to play alongside Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev on the Na’Vi roster.

The TwitLonger post sternly concluded that “There were no offers made and no amount named,” and that “The case is closed, glhf [good luck, have fun].”

Na’Vi has not responded to the matter at the time of writing this article. Nevertheless, Na’Vi’s search certainly has not ceased at that moment. Surely, the team must have other possible prospects on their list.

GuardiaN in a tight spot

The Slovakian’s return to the Na’Vi roster was not the best, to say the least. Coming in from FaZe Clan, hopes were for GuardiaN to perform to his best ability. The AWPer, however, failed to live up to expectations. The Slovakian has retained his AWPer role when joining the squad, with s1mple switching to primarily rifling. Things have changed now, as the inquiry about FL1T looks to facilitate s1mple’s return to the main AWPer role on Na’Vi. All in all, it appears that the 28-year-old should better start looking for a new organization because as it stands now, he will be substituted in a matter of weeks, or even days.
