Quickshot to host in MSI 2022

While Riot did not reveal the exact details of the on-air talent team jobs, LEC talent Quickshot made it known that he will not cast any games during the event. Rather, he’ll perform hosting duties alongside Dash to cover up for the absence of  Eefje “Sjokz”  Depoortere.

Sjokz earlier announced that she decided not to be part of the MSI 2022 due to her participating in the PGL Major Antwerp. Asides from Sjokz, Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont and Clayton “CaptainFlowers” Raines also tweeted that they would not join the broadcast for the upcoming MSI.

Caedreal cited personal reasons, mentioning that he was not in the “right headspace” for the event.

Meanwhile, CaptainFlowers declined to cast the tournament after learning that the English broadcast team will have to travel to the LEC studio in Berlin.

Even though the LCS caster will not be present in Berlin he will co-host a mini-series on the Mid-Season Invitation from Lost Angeles.

MSI 2022 begins at 4 a.m. ET on May 10 with Saigon Buffalo vs. T1 as the opening series.
