Now that players had time to settle into last weekend Teamfight Tactics Patch 9.16, 9.16b makes its way onto the live servers today. The mini-patch will address some outliers from the initial update, without doing too much to shake the meta.

Here's a look at what the update brings to the table.

Trait Balance

Brawlers

  • Bonus health decreased from 300/600/1000 to 250/500/900.

Champion Balance

Draven

  • Health decreased from 700 to 650.

Jinx

  • Ability bonus AS decreased from 0.75/1.0/1.25 to 0.6/0.8/1.0.
  • Rocked damage decreased from 100/225/350 to 100/200/300.

Kayle

  • Shield duration lowered from 2/3/4 seconds to 2/2.5/3 seconds.

Lucian

  • Ability Damage lowered from 150/250/350 to 120/225/350.

Vi

  • Manage increased from 50/125 to 75/150.

Aatrox

  • Ability damage increased early and lowered late from 250/600/950 to 300/600/900.

Anivia

  • Health increased from 650 to 700.

Gnar

  • Bonus AD upon transformation increased from 30/60/90 to 50/100/150.

Miss Fortune

  • Ability Damage increased from 800/1250/1700 to 900/1300/1700.

Morgana

  • Base armor increase from 20 to 30.
  • Ability Damage decreased from 200/325/450 to 175/300/425.

Shen

  • Base health increased from 650 to 700.

Item Balance

Luden's Echo

  • Damage decreased from 200 to 180.

Bugfix

  • Hextech trait bonus now properly disables Ionic Spark for 8 seconds rather than the entire round.

In addition to the balance adjustments, Riot has improved upon matchmaking once again to prevent players from facing each other as often. This will be especially helpful as a way of preventing people from meeting pros or top players as frequently in-game.

Even for a small patch to tide us over until next week's 9.17, there are clear winners and losers. The damage buffs for Mega Gnar are pretty large, and the Aatrox damage is significant as well. Jinx's nerfs are a step in the right direction as well, since both the champion and the Hextech Origin have received a fair amount of complaints since last patch.

Patch 9.16b is set to release on August 21, sometime in the afternoon. Patch 9.17 will release on Wednesday, August 28.
