Riot lead gameplay designer Mark "Scruffy" Yetter shared some tentative numbers surrounding buffs and nerfs for champions in Patch 9.17 as a followup on his preview from earlier in the week.

The patch will only looks to nerf Aatrox, Akali, and Qiyana while buffing a significantly larger amount of champs and adjusting Kayle, Aurelion Sol, and Neeko.

The most notable aspects of this patch so far, aside from the nerfs to strong meta solo laners, are the buffs to Ryze, Galio, Kalista, and Lucian. Kalista and Galio are a deadly duo in the bot lane that have been slowly creeping their way back into the meta, and Lucian and Ryze are in a fine spot already. They'll likely see more play with the early power they'll receive in 9.17.

Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming changes.

  • Base HP reduced from 580 to 520.

  • Five Point Strike (Q) AP ration reduced from 0.6 to 0.4.

  • Audacity (E) damage reduced from 70-210 per rank to 50-190 per rank.
  • Supreme Display of Talent (R) cooldown changed from 120-80 seconds to a flat 120 seconds at all ranks.

  • Base MR increased from 30 from 34.
  • Spell Flux (E) damage increased from 60-140 per rank to 70-150.

  • Base AD increased from 67 to 69.
  • Base mana increased from 231.8 to 250.
  • Mana per level increased from 35 to 45.

  • R cooldown lowered from 130-110 seconds to 120-100 seconds.

  • Shield of Daybreak (Q) cooldown reduced from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.

  • Empowered Comet Spear (Q) crits enemies below 25% HP.
  • Aegis Assault (E) no longer deals reduced damage to monsters.

Since this patch is supposed to be slightly low-key, it's likely that no additional champions will find their way onto this list when the official patch notes drop next week. Until then, you'll be able to test these changes out for yourself on the PBE.
