Royal Never Give Up top laner Yan “Letme” Jun-Ze announced his official retirement in a statement today. The team has acquired top laner Xie "Langx" Zhen-Ying (formerly XiaoAL) from Suning Gaming, as well as former Rogue Warriors and Flash Wolves coach Steak to join the coaching staff.

In Letme's retirement letter, he said that he was beginning to lack confidence in his play and ultimately decided that it was time for him to move on. He wanted fans to know that he is happy with his decision and feels satisfied with his career. Below is a full translation of the letter by Twitter user iCrystalization.

Langx comes to RNG after placing 10th in the 2019 LPL Spring Split with SN, despite having a strong individual performance with the team. Now that he'll be joining forces with jungler Hung "Karsa" Hau-Hsuan and mid laner Li "Xiaohu" Yuan-Hao, RNG may have one of the strongest topsides in the league going into 2019 Summer.

Letme will be remembered as a solid presence in the top lane for RNG, and was famous for his low econ tank play. His 2v1 on Urgot in the 2018 World Championship Group Stage against Team Vitality will always be a reminder of how broken that champion can be.

Good luck in your future endeavors, Letme!
