After three days, Twitch has finally lifted Ashkan “TF Blade” Homayouni’s ban, and people are just as angry as they are excited.

The streaming service initially banned Blade for 30 days, after accusing him of using a racial slur in a clip from his stream (which he denied). The suspension was then reduced to seven days following a testimony from Steve Arhancet, owner of Team Liquid.

Even though TF Blade will now be able to resume his streaming career, many people are angry that Twitch allowed the incident to escalate to this point. The general consensus seems to be that he said “idiots” rather than a racial slur, especially after this slo-mo clip was shared, but Twitch has yet to release an official statement or apology.

Judging from the community’s responses to this situation, people are less interested in TF Blade’s unban, and more concerned about Twitch issuing an apology.
