PROJECT: Bastion 2021 Battle Pass cost breakdown
In League of Legends, each major event comes with its own battle pass that unlocks a plethora of premium content. Like all previous passes, the LoL PROJECT 2021 pass can be found in the in-game store for 1,650 RP. Purchasing this pass instantly unlocks 4 PROJECT 2021 loot orbs along with 200 event tokens.
Pass owners also immediately get access to a bonus rewards mission line, called Milestones. These 20 missions come with their own list of rewards. Finally, players that purchase the pass will unlock token rewards on every matchmade game played throughout the event. For a full breakdown of these perks, as well as a complete milestone missions list, keep scrolling!
Skin collectors and Sylas mains will find a second bundle in the store that may be of interest. Priced at 2,650 RP, the LoL PROJECT 2021 Pass Bundle comes with everything in the original pass. Additionally, this bundle also comes with the new PROJECT: Sylas skin and its matching loading screen border and player icon. Players that don’t already own Sylas as a champion will receive him too.
While the bundle is an unnecessary expenditure for most players, it’s a significant bargain for those that want the skin. Those that are undecided can purchase the pass first and then pay the difference to unlock the rest of the bundle later. The upgrade cost is only 1,000 RP, so there is no penalty for buying just the pass first.
Battle Pass Token Rewards
Arguably the greatest perk of unlocking any League of Legends event pass is the token reward system. Once unlocked, the LoL PROJECT: Bastion 2021 pass will reward players with PROJECT tokens after every game, win or lose. Furthermore, there is no limit to how many tokens players can farm.
Objective | Reward |
Win a game of Summoner’s Rift | 10 tokens |
Lose a game of Summoner’s Rift | 5 tokens |
Win a game of ARAM | 6 tokens |
Lose a game of ARAM | 3 tokens |
Win a game of Nexus Blitz | 6 tokens |
Lose a game of Nexus Blitz | 3 tokens |
Achieve a rank of 1 or 2 in TFT | 8 tokens |
Achieve a rank of 3 or 4 in TFT | 6 tokens |
Achieve a rank of 5 or 6 in TFT | 4 tokens |
Achieve a rank of 7 or 8 in TFT | 2 tokens |
Players that are among the most active will have the chance to purchase the all-new PROJECT: Sylas Prestige Edition skin for 2,000 tokens in the in-game event shop.
PROJECT 2021 Milestone Missions List
Each event pass in League of Legends comes with its own list of Milestone missions. In the PROJECT: Bastion event, there are 20 new Milestone missions. These missions unlock one after another and the only requirement is activity.
Milestone mission activity points are earned after every matchmade game. Winning a game of Summoner’s Rift, Aram or Nexus Blitz rewards two activity points. Losses in any of the mentioned game modes come with one activity point. For the purpose of these missions, a top four finish in Teamfight Tactics is treated as a win. Consequently, a bottom four finish in TFT is considered a loss.
Each Milestone needs 15 activity points to be completed.
Mission | Reward |
Milestone 1 | 2021 PROJECT: Event Pass Icon |
Milestone 2 | 5 Prestige Points |
Milestone 3 | 10 Win XP Boost |
Milestone 4 | 5 Prestige Points |

Milestone 18 | 750 Orange Essence |
Milestone 19 | PROJECT 2021 Orb |
Milestone 20 | 1 Gemstone |
Weekly Win Missions
As always, the biggest chunk of available coins in this event come through the Weekly Win Missions. Yet another perk of the event pass, these missions unlock throughout the month and give hundreds of free tokens. There are no special requirements here. Each mission is completed simply by playing the game.
Similar to the milestone missions listed above, wining any matchmade game will reward two points towards a weekly win mission. Losses, on the other hand, reward one point. Keep in mind that these missions do not expire as soon as the next one unlocks. Once a weekly mission is open, players have until the end of the event to complete it.
Mission | Reward |
Week 1 | Score 35 Points | 230 tokens |
Week 2 | Score 35 Points | 230 tokens |
Week 3 | Score 35 Points | 230 tokens |
Week 4 | Score 50 Points | 310 tokens |
While weekly missions and milestones use the same activity points system, they can be worked on at the same time. This usually means that if a player is active throughout the month, they’ll complete their weeklies alongside their milestone missions without any added effort required.
