LoL Lunar Beast 2021 Event | Milestone missions and pass guide
The popular League of Legends Lunar Revel event is back with the launch of Lunar Beast 2021. This year’s event celebrates the Year of the Ox with a host of new missions and rewards, the return of the wildly popular ARURF game mode and the release of the Lunar Beast Fiora Prestige Edition Skin. The event began on Thursday, Feb. 4, and will run through Monday, March 8.
Like with all past events, Lunar Beast comes with a premium pass that players can unlock immediately. The Lunar Beast 2021 Pass is currently available for 1,650 RP and includes 200 Lunar Beast Tokens, 4 Lunar Beast 2021 Orbs and gives players access to 20 Milestone missions that come with a ton of additional rewards. The more expensive Lunar Beast Pass Bundle, at 2,650 RP, includes everything in the original pass along with the Fiora champion, her brand new Lunar Beast skin and the accompanying summoner icon and skin border. For those who haven’t decided whether to pick up Fiora and her new skin yet, it’s possible to buy the pass now and get the skin bundle later with no change in the overall price.
Both the Lunar Beast Pass and the Fiora Bundle will be available until Monday, March 8. Once the event ends, players will have until Monday, March 22 to spend their remaining Lunar Beast 2021 Tokens.
Token rewards
One of the biggest bonuses of the Lunar Beast 2021 Pass is the token farming aspect, which has become traditional to League of Legends events. Players that nab the pass will unlock token rewards that pay out after every game played throughout the duration of the event. As always, Summoner’s Rift hands out the most tokens, while ARAM and the freshly rereleased ARURF give fewer due to the faster nature of the matches. In all traditional game modes, wins give twice as many points as losses do, while TFT hands out scaling rewards based on finish position.

Players can find their Lunar Beast 2021 Tokens in their game client’s “Loot” window. There, players can spend tokens on exclusive new content, such as icons, borders, chromas, Little Legends eggs and the new Fiora Prestige Edition skin.
Milestone missions
The Lunar Beast 2021 Pass also gives players access to 20 new milestone missions that come with a variety of rewards. Each mission requires 15 activity points to be completed. Wins in any matchmade game reward five points, while losses are worth two points. Milestone missions are also sequential, meaning you must complete the first mission to move on to the next, and so on.

Weekly Win missions
Following the trend of past events, the biggest chunk of tokens that players can earn in the Lunar Beast event comes from the pass-exclusive Weekly Win missions. These missions become available over time as the event goes on, with Week 1 unlocking alongside the event’s launch. Similar to the Milestone Missions, Weekly Win Missions are completed by acquiring points.
The first three missions require 35 points and grant 230 Tokens, which is up from the 215 offered in the Battle Queens event. The fourth and final mission grants 310 Tokens and requires 50 points.

Once again, players will earn five points for every matchmade win in Summoner’s Rift, ARAM, ARURF, or Teamfight Tactics. Losing a match rewards two points.
