Following League of Legends’ tenth anniversary, content creators took the opportunity to pay musical homage to the popular MOBA. Over the years, League of Legends has been known to release some iconic tunes. This year, Riot Games released their Worlds 2019 theme song “Phoenix” featuring Cailin Russo and Chrissy Costanza — gaining over 19 million views on YouTube. Although the video is not an official production of Riot Games, Sleightlymusical expresses it’s a project he’s been meaning to do for some time. “Thanks Riot Games for working with me on this project. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do,” he said. As of now, the video has received over 100,000 views and is expected to receive much more attention within the League of Legends community.
