Riot Games and Twitch have partnered up once again to give League of Legends players more free in-game items. Players with a Twitch Prime account can unlock a free permanent Mystery Skin. The skin tokens could include a wide range of rare and no longer available skins from League‘s extensive history. They can include anything from legendary to legacy skins, giving players a wide range of skins to acquire.
Throughout March, players will have the opportunity to obtain up to three permanent skins from Twitch Prime. Twitch did not say when the other two tokens will become available, so players should make sure to check in periodically.
I was able to redeem a token for a Freljord Ashe skin, a legacy item that is no longer available to purchase. Not too bad overall!
How to get redeem your token
In order to claim your free permanent skin, you must have your Riot Account linked to Twitch Prime. Once the two accounts are linked, you can claim your token from the Twitch Prime page. With your token claimed, navigate to the loot tab in the League of Legends client, and you’ll find the token in your materials section.
Unfortunately, this reward is not available for users who play on Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore/Malaysia, and Taiwan servers, along with all servers in China.
