“LCS fans represent the future of fandom,” Matt Archambault, the head of partnerships and business development for LCS, said. “They are social, competitive, and seek immersive opportunities that allow them to put their passion and knowledge against other fans.” Archambault added that when GreenPark Sports told him its vision for a more fan-forward gaming platform, he knew it would add to the audience experience.

The CEO of GreenPark Sports is Ken Martin, who is also excited about engaging passionate LCS fans. He said that the fan experience within the esports industry is ready for live-game visualizations, outcome predictions, reward mechanisms, and a better community connection.

“This partnership forms an important pillar in our ecosystem of the leagues and games that fans care about the most,” Martin said.

The GreenPark Sports and LCS partnership comes in the wake of an $8.5 million seed funding back in October 2019. It also follows Alan Miller’s welcome into GreenPark Sports as an executive.

Miller was one of the co-founders of Activision. His role as the senior vice president of analytics at GreenPark Sports involves analyzing game data to improve the player experience. He will also be using his experience and expertise to help reach the company’s fan-oriented goals.

“I believe the most important use of analytics in gaming is to personalize the experience for each player and maximize their enjoyment,” Alan said. He further explained how the system analyzes each player and helps them find new games, gives them progress tips, and helps them connect with people who share the same interests.

We shall see how this new partnership develops.
