Since the start of Call of Duty: Warzone, the Kar98k has been perhaps the most popular sniper rifle. The speed and damage the sniper brings are nearly unmatched in the battle royale. However, the Vanguard version of the Kar98k is now in Warzone Pacific and it carries an arguably stronger loadout than its Modern Warfare-era predecessor.
Unsurprisingly, the Vanguard iteration of the Kar98k is similar to the one already in Warzone Pacific. It has high mobility, above-average damage range and lethal accuracy if players equip the right attachments. Of course, the attachments for this version of the Kar98k are completely different from the Modern Warfare edition. So, players might need some advice on which attachments to equip on their Vanguard Kar98k loadout.
Best Vanguard Kar98k loadout in Warzone Pacific
The main attachments on this Kar98k loadout help with damage range and mobility. Players have a sniper with terrific base stats here, but there’s always room for improvement.

The loadout begins with the VDD RED2K barrel, to increase bullet velocity and the one-shot kill area of the Kar98k. The Lengthened Ammo Type also increases bullet velocity to land bullets even faster.
For mobility purposes, the Short Stock, 8mm Klauser 3 Round Mag and Fabric Rear Grip improve aim-down-sight and sprint-to-fire speed, to allow the Kar98k to quickscope enemies with ease. However, players will also need solid recoil control to land successive shots. Recoil control is boosted by the G28 Compensator and Heavy Foregrip attachments.
The final two additions are the Shrouded and Deep Breath perks. The former reduces scope glint that snipers give off when aiming in, and the latter allows players to hold a steadier scope when aiming down sights.
