Jesse “Jesiz” Le, formerly known as “Jesse,” has been part of the European League of Legends scene since February 2013. Throughout the years, Jesiz has competed in various roles, including mid lane, support, and coach. Now, however, the announcement was made that he will be joining the Illuminar Gaming roster for the Polish Superliga.

Jesiz’s pro career in League of Legends

As stated before, Jesiz’s career in the professional League of Legends scene started all the way back in 2013. At the time, he competed on various semi-professional teams before joining SK Gaming in November 2013. Throughout the year, the SK Gaming lineup had quite a lot of success. The team’s results included a top 3 placement in the EU LCS (now LEC), winning the 2013 DreamHack Winter League of Legends competition, and a group stage Worlds attendance in 2014.

This success was only the beginning for Jesiz. He went on to compete alongside teams such as Fnatic, G2 Esports, Origen, and finally Misfits Gaming. Throughout this period, between October 2014 and May 2018, Jesiz switched roles several times. He ended his career as mid laner in June 2015, played botlane for two splits in 2015, and became a coach in 2016. Then in 2017, he joined the Fnatic roster as a support player, to assist with in-game communication and decision-making. In May 2018 he left playing behind once more, to coach the Misfits Gaming roster in the LEC.

Now, however, after his time as a coach with Misfits Gaming has ended, he again returns to the role of a player, with the Polish team Illuminar Gaming. For the 2020 season, Jesiz will be the starting support player of the roster, alongside William “Unforgiven” Nieminen.

While the starting date of the Polish Superliga is not yet announced, it is expected to start alongside other leagues in early February. For more news surrounding League of Legends, be sure to read all about the rotating game modes returning in 2020.
