How to watch the Modern Warfare 2 global reveal

The global reveal is coming up shortly

It’s June 7, which means the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 global reveal is just one days away. As confirmed by Call of Duty themselves, the first reveal for the upcoming title will be on June 8 at the Summer Games Fest. The Summer Games Fest is an annual event that showcases some of the best upcoming games, often revealing several of them. This year, that includes Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty publisher Activision also confirmed it will follow up the reveal with a “world premiere gameplay level” on June 9. In all likelihood, this will focus on the Campaign mode. Activision has already shown off several of the Campaign’s characters, which include fan favorites Ghost and Captain Price among others. The level showcased at the Summer Games Fest will also reportedly be a cinematic marvel, featuring high-level graphics and audio.

If you’re planning to tune in live to both trailers, we’re going over exactly when and where you can watch them.

Both trailers will debut at the Summer Games Fest, which will first go live at 2 p.m. ET on June 8. You can tune in live to the Summer Games Fest via The Game Awards social media channels. This includes Twitch and YouTube.

It’s unclear exactly what time the first reveal trailer will begin for Modern Warfare 2. The event will showcase a wide variety of new games, so fans will have to keep watching until Call of Duty has its turn. As for the gameplay reveal on June 9, that time slot is also up in the air.

Beyond these two reveals, it’s been confirmed that MW2 will launch on Oct. 28 for last and current-gen consoles as well as PC. PC users will also see the game release on Steam for the first time in five years in addition to releasing on Battle.net. There will also be a beta and possibly an alpha for MW2, but dates for those have yet to be confirmed. The reveal trailer for the game will likely share when the beta will take place at the least.
