How to watch the 100 Thieves Vanguard Legends Show Match

The Show Match reunites rivals on Vanguard

The rematch that Call of Duty fans have been waiting for is finally happening. Yesterday, 100 Thieves announced the Legends Show Match taking place on Vanguard and featuring eight of the best Call of Duty players to ever play. However, the headline is the renewal of the best rivalry in the esports’ history: 100 Thieves CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag vs. retired pro Patrick “ACHES” Price.

Nadeshot and ACHES have quite the history, dating back to 2012. At UMG Chicago during the Black Ops 2 season, ACHES physically pushed Nadeshot on the main stage after Nadeshot was celebrating their win over ACHES’ squad. This kicked off a rivalry between Nadeshot and ACHES but also between OpTic Gaming and ACHES, as Nadeshot played for OpTic during this time. ACHES was also the last opponent that Nadeshot ever played against in a professional Call of Duty match. ACHES’ FaZe Red squad defeated OpTic Gaming at COD Champs during Advanced Warfare, which led to Nadeshot retiring from competition.

Their history aside, 100 Thieves are throwing the Legends Show Match to kick off the Vanguard season and also give fans an exciting series to watch.

The 100 Thieves Vanguard Legends Show Match

The event takes place on Dec. 1 on the 100 Thieves Twitch channel. It will be played live at the 100 Thieves Cash App Compound in Los Angeles, California. Aside from Nadeshot and ACHES, the Show Match will feature six of the game’s best pros, both current and retired. The full list of pros is below.

  • Ian “Crimsix” Porter
  • Matt “FormaL” Piper
  • James “Clayster” Eubanks
  • Raymond “Rambo” Lussier
  • Thomas “ZooMaa” Paparatto
  • Jordan “JKap” Kaplan

The format will see Nadeshot and ACHES as captains and select players in a snake style draft. The draft will be live prior to the match beginning. Once each team has their four players, they’ll go head-to-head in a best-of-seven series on Vanguard. The game modes and maps have yet to be announced.

If the draft works out a certain way, other rivalries could come into focus. The biggest one is between Crimsix and FormaL, as the two former teammates clashed with each other during the last season of the CDL.

Fans can see all of the action of the Legends Show Match go down on the 100T Twitch channel. A time has yet to be announced for the event.
